Resuming downloads on google playstore has been a very difficult and sad task to accomplish, and a lot of folks have complained about it more especially those who download games worth gigabytes of data .
Imaging downloading a 2Gb file for a game and then you loose network connection for a few secs, then when you get it back your 2gb file download is paused at 1.6gb and will not resume!!! You keep wasting your time and network data often and on?
Long story short, i found a way to bypass this problem for us.
Google playstore, uses the default or stock download manager for it downloads on all android mobile devices, and applications cannot be downloaded otherwise on playstore .
To resume a playstore, download we need to start another download on the phone and it should be downloaded through the default download manager , a file of 1mb or more will do the trick and it will be able to resume ongoing download on playstore immediately
You need to use default internet browsers to download any 1mb file for good results.
